James O'Keefe - explosive conservative filmmaker who exposed ACORN, causing national upheaval and Congressional action -- to speak at MassResistance Banquet on March 6!

POSTED: January 22, 2010

Underground conservative investigative journalist and filmmaker James O'Keefe, who turned the journalism profession upside down last summer with his blockbuster videos exposing ACORN's willingness to help a set up child prostitution ring and causing national upheaval and Congressional action -- will speak at the MassResistance banquet on Saturday evening, March 6.

This will be an incredible evening. We suggest you get your tickets as early as possible.

Over a period of weeks last summer, O'Keefe, along with a partner, Hanna Giles, went into ACORN offices in Baltimore, Washington DC, Brooklyn NY, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Bernadino, and San Diego. Dressed as a pimp and a prostitute, they asked the ACORN staff members to help them get bank loans, launder money, and create fake documentation to buy a house to run a child prostitution ring. In every case, the staff members eagerly complied.

Most of the liberal mainstream media at first attempted to ignore the story, but after FOX news repeatedly presented it on prime-time newscasts, other media outlets were forced to report on it. The scandal shook the halls of Congress, which at one point voted to withhold funds from ACORN.

ACORN once employed Barack Obama as their legal counsel in Chicago and received $800,000 from the Obama campaign for "voter registration" help. They have also received over $50 million from the federal government for various "projects" over the last several years.

But although accusations and even proof of ACORN's criminal activity had surfaced previously, no one would take any serious action. James O'Keefe's videos really shook the nation with their cold, hard revelations of actual ACORN employees conspiring to commit horrible acts.

ACORN responded at first by trying to lie about it, accusing O'Keefe of tampering with the videos, taking money from Fox News, etc. -- all false. They are also attempting to sue James in Maryland for "wiretapping". ACORN also hired former Massachusetts Attorney General Scott Harshbarger to conduct an internal investigation.

Twenty-five year old James O'Keefe is not only a well-grounded conservative and utterly fearless, but he is a brilliant videographer whose work truly represents the "new journalism" of the Internet and the 21st century.

James began his career as a journalist as the founder and editor-in-chief of The Centurion at Rutgers University. He has helped start over a dozen campus newspapers nationwide. His past projects include an investigation of Planned Parenthood, where his reporting exposed the organization's willingness to ignore apparent instances of statutory rape and eugenics-based racism. He also exposed Planned Parenthood's willingness to target donations to abort black babies. He currently blogs at BigGovernment.com. More of his videos are HERE.

A famous community organizer once said, "The only way to upset the power structure in your communities is to goad them, confuse them, irritate them and, most of all, make them live by their own rules. If you make them live by their own rules, you destroy them." Impossible demands can irritate modern leftists in ways nothing else can . . .
