Had enough? Citizens, take back your government!

A pattern of harassment, intimidation,
and obsession

US Government employee (and prominent homosexual
activist) at center of controversy.

It started out with a series of regular emails the Article 8 office, sent from an unknown "Gaston28@aol.com" last winter.  In the spring, they started going to Amy at the office. This person had gone to the trouble of finding out where Amy lived -- he often taunted her with her address and phone number -- and also described her children. Over time, the emails seemed to get more threatening.

As you read this, you will see the dark underbelly of homosexual behavior and the inner rage that's often intertwined with it.  (In addition, this guy and his "husband" (a lawyer) who are behind the blog, and apparently behind the emails and possibly a lot of other things, claim to be just another normal, well-adjusted couple. Well, not exactly.)

Weird, depraved stuff:
Here are excerpts of  just some of the emails
from "Gaston28@aol.com"
sent to Amy at the Article 8 office
earlier this year:

At one point, Amy discussed emails up with a Harvard-trained psychologist specializing in anger management. He said he was "most concerned," and what especially struck him was the focus on Amy's son in one of the emails.

In July, Amy's credit card number was stolen and weird things were charged over the Internet and sent to her home (more an act of harassment than anything else, it seemed)!

Mass. Attorney General's Office refuses to act

Last spring, after calling various law enforcement agencies about these email, Amy was told to go to the Massachusetts Attorney General's office.

After some discussion, these emails were all forwarded to Denise Barton,  a staff attorney who runs the "computer crimes" division at the Attorney General's office. Barton at first acknowledged that these threatening emails were probably criminal acts. But it seemed clear to us that when she realized who WE were, and possibly that the perpetrator was a gay activist, Barton became very difficult and condescending.

(It shouldn't surprise you, since one of Attorney General Tom Reilly's top staff members, Assistant Attorney General Robert Quinan, is very active in the Mass. Lesbian and Gay Bar Association, co-wrote a paper on "gay students' rights", and was recently featured in the newspaper for marrying. . .another man!)

With tremendous difficulty, we finally got Barton to subpoena AOL and get the name and address of Gaston28@aol.com. (AOL protects harassers, unless you get a subpoena. They're actually proud of that.) We thought we were on the way to justice. But Barton would not cooperate with Amy at all. No charges were filed, and she would not divulge the man's identity so our we could at least get a civil restraining order. Barton now said that the man was simply "exercising his free speech rights."

Instead of taking any kind of substantial action, Barton told us she had a state trooper "visit" him and "warn" him.    And Barton refused to reopen the investigation after the July credit card theft.

A new on-line identity for Gaston28?

But right after this visit from the state trooper and  "warning" -- guess what happened? Gaston28 disappeared and immediately GayBoyScout@aol.com appeared (who we've now identified, along with his "wedding" picture), with a new "MassResistanceWatch" blog.

And, curiously, this new blog had exact same writing style as Gaston28, and even the exact same topic preoccupations. And it ranted about the same things, attacking Amy in the same way.

(Lately, the blog has branched out to attacking Brian Camenker, Article 8, and David Parker, as well as Amy, but it is still mostly devoted to obsessively dealing with Amy.)

The "MassResistanceWatch" blog is truly sick and creepy. It's hard to imagine someone putting that much time and effort, day after day, to write about the same one or two people. And more than that, the rage and emotion that this guy directs to his "subjects", and the lies and twists that he invents for his stories, reflect a very, very obsessed, disturbed individual.

"GayBoyScout" -- author of MassResistance Watch blog -- reveals himself.

At one point we finally connected the dots. The homosexual newspaper "Bay Windows" published a "wedding photo" that answered all the questions. Amy published the photo (though not identifying him as the MassResistanceWatch author) on her blog, and soon afterwards GayBoyScout -- a.k.a. BostonBud --- a.k.a. Emanuel "Buddy" Souza of Boston -- admitted that he'd been "outed", so to speak.

It wasn't hard to guess. Gaston himself had said in an email to Article 8 that he works for the federal government in a high position. At that same time, our blog statistics showed that someone from the Environmental Protection Agency had been going to the MassResistance blog often. BostonBud/GayBoyScout often mentioned he was "married" to "Patrick on his blog.  The "wedding" was between Buddy Souza and Patrick Bennison.

Here's the link to the Bay Windows article on the "wedding" (above).

And here's the "MassEquality" writeup of the "marriage" that was given to every Massachusetts legislator this past summer, to help lobby to preserve "equal" homosexual marriage rights.

Back to square one -- for now.  AG's office now refuses to even discuss it with us.

But she has reviewed the break in, and the credit card fraud, and has decided that since those are not the type of cases the AG investigates, she does not think it appropriate to have a sit down.
