Anti-religious intimidation: Homosexual activists picket church to harass churchgoers as they leave Sunday services -- because of religious ex-gay message.

This could happen to your church eventually. . .

Approaching noon. Tremont Temple Baptist Church in downtown Boston, shortly before noon on Sunday morning, Sept. 18.

BOSTON, MA (SEPT. 18)  The Boston homosexual community continued its campaign of harassment and intimidation today against an inner-city church which intends to hold a seminar which includes ex-gays giving testimony, advice, and information.

The Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Boston has planned a program on Oct. 29 in their church on leaving the homosexual lifestyle by embracing God.  The "Love Won Out" conference has been touring the country, and Boston gay activists have decided that this is a message they don't want people to be able to hear.  The homosexuals have been harassing the church for weeks.  For safety, the church had a police officer stationed inside the front doors.

Today the a group of about a dozen sign-holders and others came to confront and intimidate the churchgoers as they left services. Although the churchgoers were forewarned and advised to simply ignore the gays, it was still a chilling experience for many.

Demonstrators. At twelve o'clock, when services normally end, about a dozen homosexual activists converged to protest and demonstrate.  They stood right at the front doors, next to the silver car directly in front of the church (see top picture).

Several of them held signs to intimidate the people coming out of the church. Others tried to mingle with the crowd of churchgoers leaving the church and engage them in conversation. Luckily, the people had been warned to just ignore the homosexual activists and walk away. But a few were visibly upset and were willing to politely but firmly confront them!

Among the demonstrators were activists from various homosexual groups around New England, including several that specifically target the public schools.

Historic location. Interestingly, across the street is the burial place of Samuel Adams. (In the middle picture above, you can see the tombstone just to the right of the girl's head).  Let's just say that it's a good thing he can't see what's happening here now!

August 16 - Boston Herald first reports on trouble.

Boston Herald, 8/16/2005

As you can see from this Boston Herald article (Tues., Aug. 16) the homosexual movement will not tolerate any public or private dissent.

This is not the first time Boston churches have been subject to these tactics.  "QueerToday" is the same group that disrupted a Catholic Mass a few years ago, featuring (current State Rep.) Carl Sciortino embracing his homosexual lover in the church.  In June, homosexual activists picketed a church in Natick that allowed David Parker to speak.  And last year a group of lesbian activists went into a church and screamed "Heil Hitler" when the church had a talk on homosexual issues they disagreed with.

But the ex-gay movement features a message that the homosexual activists vehemently want to stop: that people can be healed from the pain and suffering of homosexual behavior by embracing God.  The fact that thousands of people have successfully done so is a testament to the healing process which gay activists do not want the public to hear.

And particularly galling to them is the fact that Anne Heche's mother is speaking. As you know, Anne Heche had a celebrated lesbian relationship with actress Ellen Degeneres. They were the poster couple of the movement.  Then Anne married her cameraman! She later talked about the sexual abuse she grew up with that caused her to get involved with lesbian behavior.

(By the way, it's always interesting when homosexual activists talk about "out of state groups" coming in. In last year's elections, the Washington-based "Human Rights Campaign" homosexual organization poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into Massachusetts state legislative races.)

Notice the "big lie" fingerprints in this article. The quote by the gay activist: "The radical right is trying to create all sorts of secondary fronts in the civil rights struggle."  This is their large-scale twisting of the truth that (1) anyone offering any dissenting view is radical and therefore dangerous--and is the aggressor in these issues; (2) homosexual activism is equivalent to the Civil Rights movement; and (3) any dissent must be silenced using a climate of fear.

Check out the article on this in Bay Windows, the Boston homosexual newspaper.  They are serious about censoring you, using whatever methods they feel necessary.

Letters to the Editor:  Following the article, Homosexuals write in defending their actions. Give absurd, offensive argument that a church having a private program somehow suppresses THEIR voices and rights!   Brian Camenker of Article 8 Alliance exposes the true nature of this argument.
